A nourished child is better able to learn, focus, and participate confidently in school activities. CoAlive’s School Feeding Program addresses hunger and malnutrition among vulnerable learners by providing nutritious meals that support concentration, attendance, and academic performance.
The program has already begun transforming lives in the Matinyani area of Kitui County, with plans to expand across the county and beyond.
Impact Goals:
Improve school attendance and retention
Reduce hunger-related learning challenges
Enhance concentration and academic performance
Promote child health and well-being
In partnership with 4-K Clubs, CoAlive empowers learners with practical agricultural knowledge, leadership skills, and environmental stewardship.
Through hands-on learning experiences, students gain exposure to sustainable farming practices, food production, teamwork, and climate-conscious living. The clubs help young people appreciate agriculture not only as a livelihood opportunity but also as a tool for food security and environmental conservation.
